Our dealer partner Earthlight believes in the ELM MicroGrid product line so much they installed it at their headquarters. The ELM system consists of one CMG 125 and two expansion battery containers. The system provides 125kW of continuous load capability along with 660kWh of energy storage capacity. The primary use case for the ELM solution, including our cutting edge Fieldsight microgrid controller, is to participate in the Connecticut Energy Storage Solutions program to improve resilience.
Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) launched Energy Storage Solutions, a statewide electric storage program for all Eversource and United Illuminating (UI) residential, commercial, and industrial customers in an effort to foster a more reliable and resilient electric distribution system (source Connecticut Launches Statewide Battery Storage Program).
The team at Earthlight will be able to showcase these ELM MicroGrid products to their customers in person and provide them with real time information about how our products function.
